Cleverly designed to optimise solar capture, the sunFLOWER™ gathers electrical power during the day via an integral solar panel. This panel charges a maintenance free battery, providing high power LED lighting at night. Using the integrated Passive Infrared sensor (PIR) the lighting level can be increased automatically when a pedestrian is within 5 metres, after a preset period the lighting level is then slowly dimmed. This not only saves energy, but also reduces light pollution.
This state of the art design combines the very latest in solar capture and LED illumination that can now compete with conventional power supplies.
Energy Management Controller
A sophisticated and comprehensive Energy Management Controller hidden within the sunFLOWER™ optimises the power captured and continually monitors the battery condition to ensure year round reliable operation. Additional features controlled by the EMS are the lighting on/off times which can be programmed at the time of installation.
A Unique Feature of the sunFLOWER™
A unique feature of the sunFLOWER™ is that not only are the brightness levels programmable on installation, but the light level can be dimmed automatically when there are no pedestrians in the vicinity.

Installation
To enable flexibility at the time of installation the base section and top section have been designed to incorporate a variety of fixing options. The design allows the base to be installed without the need to precisely align the top section. This means that the panel can be orientated at a later date to receive the maximum solar radiation. In addition, the lighting section is also adjustable which allows directional angling of the LED’s.
